In a small village in Tamil Nadu, South India, PremaHome offers orphans and children from poor and broken families a new home where they receive food and accommodation, medical care and a good education, all for free. PremaHome is presently looking after 600 destitute children and teaching 750 children in its own school. It is also sending as many children as possible to college after graduation.
Apart from satisfying their basic needs, it is PremaHome’s aim to bring them up according to their own culture, religion and tradition, to teach them good habits and human values in order to help them build their character and give them a chance to have a good and happy future. Their wish is that they become independent, self-confident and self-reliant and become a loving example for their own children and society.
